To my bit on the side…

…Happy 32nd birthday, Tom Hiddleston!

Hiddles-Birthday

Ten points if you can guess which of his movies inspired my choice of cake for the graphic. 😉

New Interview with RA

😉

***************

Update

Disclaimer: Yesterday I read a post on Frenz’s blog. This fake interview was a joke in response. Sorry if you thought it was real. 😦 I thought the last line would give it away.

The King Beneath the Mountains…Wallpaper

In my world, new photos mean it is time to have some fun with Photoshop! I couldn’t resist making a wallpaper out of the image of Thorin and his sword.

I started with this image of Thorin, from Entertainment Weekly:

Then I found this cool photo of a lonely mountain:

Next I found this amazing drawing of a dragon (I couldn’t figure out who the artist was from Google Images):

Lastly I found a fun cascade of gold coins:

Putting all of these elements together, this is what I came up with:

July Calendar Wallpapers

Normally when I play in Photoshop, I share what I’ve made and then the images just sit in a folder on my computer. This time I thought I would crop a couple of my projects to wallpaper size and add a calendar to each.

What ice cream flavor is Richard Armitage?

This was a question posed in the comments of my RA ice cream man post. And since the devil hasn’t taken his weather back yet, it got me thinking. Plain old vanilla or chocolate just won’t do for Mr. Armitage. Therefore, I turned to my trusty friend Google to look up unique and interesting ice cream flavors. So, without further ado, here are the choices I came up with.

Dark Chocolate and Chili Gelato:

Dark, rich and velvety with just a hint of kick.

Soy Coffee Ice Cream:

Mr. Armitage did once say he drank soy lattes.

Beer Ice Cream:

We’ve all seen that Pilsner Urquell commercial.

Ah, and now we come to some interesting options! 🙂

Better than Sex Ice Cream: cake batter ice cream with Duncan Hine’s Devils Food Cake Mix and African vanilla extract mixed into it. Crunched up Heath Bars are added to the mixture and fudge is ribboned throughout.

This one seems like a no brainer to me!

Junk-in-the-Trunk Ice Cream: African Vanilla ice cream with brownie pieces, pretzel pieces, crushed Oreo cookies and pieces of white chocolate and dark chocolate.

Couldn’t find a picture of this one, so this will have to do:

With that lovely backside of his, Mr. A could certainly be Junk-in-the-Trunk.

So, what do you think?

If you think another flavor is more fitting, be sure to tell us! 🙂

You scream, I scream, we all scream for ice cream!

With a high of 108 degrees expected today, this cheesiness seemed appropriate! 🙂

It wouldn’t break my heart if the ice cream man looked like RA!

By request…Thorin on More Famous Buildings

These are for Servetus and Teuchter. Hope you ladies like them! 🙂

The Berlin Philharmonic

Canada Place

I’m having fun making these and am learning more about Photoshop in the process. So, if anyone else has buildings they would like to see adorned with Thorin’s face, just let me know and I’ll give it a try. 🙂

Thorin on the Sydney Opera House

In case you haven’t noticed, I’ve been having a blast with websites like Photofunia and Fun Photo Box. What’s not to like? Upload the photo you want to insert and the website does all the work! But now I’ve had a request for a billboard (sort of) that I couldn’t find a photo site to upload to. What’s a girl to do? Pull out Photoshop of course. 😉 Kathryn Gaul, this one is for you:

So here’s a question: are there any other landmarks we should be putting Thorin on?

Because RA can never be on enough billboards…

…I thought we should have a follow up post!

I’ve been thinking…

…wouldn’t it be fun if the world looked like this  in November and December, ahead of The Hobbit premiere?
