    Whew!! I just knew THAT couldn’t be true! 🙂 Now I want to see Black Sky even more badly to see what he was talking about! I’m presuming they were 18 “takes” of the same bit of action! LOL

      That tweet seemed to beg for a sensationalist headline. 🙂

      I would imagine that the “18 hits to the head” were probably stage hits to the head. But also probably 18 takes as well. Unless of course Richard went all Thorin on his ass. 😉

    LOL! And I bet it was super-awesome, too! I’d already posted about the earlier tweet from Nathan so I already assumed that was the teenage boy you were referring to (although if memory serves me correctly, he is actually 20 years old 😉 )
    From what Nathan has said, his character Trey is the rebellious troublemaker of the two boys, so maybe Gary was having to get a bit medieval on his ass. 😉

      I bet it was super awesome! I’d forgotten that Nathan was 20, but it sounds so much *cough* better saying RA beat up a teenager. 😉

      It will be interesting to see how the movie goes. I haven’t read many of NK’s tweets so I hadn’t heard that his character was a trouble maker. Maybe daddy had just reached his limit.

        Well, he sounds and looks so boyish, too, that along with the fact he’s playing a teen makes it easy to forget he isn’t one. 😉 Actually, I ran across a sound bite on YT that I included in my post today on Black Sky with NK talking about the characters he and Max play–how Max is more of the straight arrow oldest son and NK is the one more likely to misbehave but alsoto bring a certain “comic relief,” I think he said. Oh, and I feature Daddy and Son in their matching cardis. 😉

    All I know is that I will go all Xena on his ass if his character’s disobedience leads to yet another one of Richard’s characters croaking at the end of a film. I am going to be FURIOUS! I am fed up with all the tragic endings, dang it. Sorry, but I’ve spent the last three days crying on and off because I miss my mother and I’ve had my fill of death, real or imaginary. Then on top of that, someone made a gif set of Harry confronting Lucas in Series 9, and that did it for my temper. I could take a page from Richard’s rage book and throw a chair through a window right now. Metaphorically speaking, of course. Anyway, I hope Richard had that kid terrified of him the whole shoot. Ha!

      Berta, if it helps any, I get the impression from what Nathan has said is he’s kind of the comical show-off kind of younger brother so I’m thinking it’s not nearly as likely he’s going to get Daddy killed–just aggravate the hell out of him at times, but not get him killed. Of course, I haven’t seen the script, it’s just–the vibe I get. Fingers crossed I am right.

      I do know where you are coming from. I don’t want to see any images of Richard and Harry in those moments, frankly, as I can’t bring myself to rewatch Spooks 9. We know Thorin dies in the last film and we know if RA plays RIII, well, it won’t end happily. I am with you–RA needs to survive and ride off into the sunset every few roles! Good for his psyche and for ours! 😀

      Berta, I’m holding out hope that Black Sky goes the way of most disaster movies. You know, where the only people who die are the baddies and the bit characters that you just aren’t emotionally attached to.

    Is this quite normal, that they are now shooting some additional scenes, 4 months after they wrapped up principal filming? I’m not talking about post-production tasks like voice-overs etc…
    Besides, somehow I absolutely feel certain, that he isn’t a poor boy…. 😉

      LOL! Yeah, I seriously doubt he’s a poor boy either. 🙂

      I do think it is fairly common for them to go back and shoot more later, especially with films that have a good bit of CGI, which I would imagine a tornado disaster movie will have.
