I have often imagined that if these were sculptures in bronze, various parts would be polished to shiny brilliance by all the petting, stroking, and yes, licking (euw, bronze, ptooey).
Leah, I think you are right. The sculptures would have to be behind ropes or maybe even glass…and even then the museum might need guards! 😉
Perhaps visitors to the museum could somehow be disciplined via invisible fencing 🙂
Invisible fencing would definitely be a feasible deterrent. Try and lick Thorin at the risk of electric shock! 🙂

We are a pretty determined bunch I think and it will take more than some glass and security guards to keep us from our objective – as some of the bolder ladies among us have already demonstrated! 🙂 I hope you won’t feel the need to install electric fencing! 😉 OH!
