Heat wave anyone? This is the current forecast where I live:
I know I’m not alone, but I got to thinking about what would make dealing with this heat wave more tolerable. What did I come up with? This:

I can’t speak for anyone else, but a hot, sweaty and half naked John Porter would sure make the heat more palatable for me! 😉

Wouldn’t that be nice! Seeing how I spent the morning scraping newly painted baseboards (who knew you couldn’t paint latex over oil-based? Oops!) I would totally put him to work. 🙂

It is hard to fathom it being cold and wet when it is so hot and dry here. 🙂 Oh, and I’m more than happy to turn the heat up!
This weather is awful. I can’t venture away from the A/C for long. But Sgt. Porter and his creator demonstrate there are really GOOD kinds of heat. 😀
It is probably even hotter down there in the south of the state. I’m just glad all the things on my to-do list are indoors! And yes, Sgt. Porter most certainly provides us with the right kind of heat. 🙂
Oddly enough, our forecast down here in LA (Lower Alabama) is not quite as scorching as it is in your neck of the woods. It’s “only” supposed to be 101 or so over the next few days. 😉
Your “only” is still plenty warm! 🙂 I’m just glad that the worst of it is supposed to be gone by the holiday next week.
I always think of Poter when it’s a scorcher, Does absolutely nothing to cool me down 😉 We’re expecting a heatwave after the coolest, rainiest June I can remember. So, more Lucas weather, I think!
Porter and heat definitely go together. All that hot South African filming, I suppose. (Those shirtless scenes weren’t gratuitous at all, they were necessary!) Lucas weather sounds awfully nice as well! 😉

We’ve had bad weather all week (in Belgium) but a super hot day today. And I’m still waiting for that storm that would be coming along this evening to cool us down. Looks like the weather gods spotted your Porter pictures and decided to stay away :-)) Hothothot!!
Sounds like you’ve had a mix of not so great weather. I hope you get that storm to cool things off. At least you have JP to provide relief. 😉
