30 Days of Richard Armitage-Day 25

An audio book you would like him to record:

We do have that small sampling of Richard Armitage reading a passage from North & South. But, I’m greedy and I want to hear him read the book in its entirety. 🙂

And since it is still Valentines Day where I live…here’s a video I enjoyed seeing thanks to a tweet by @CliveStanden.

ooooh, that voice is sex to my ears.

    • Jael, he has the sexiest voice. In truth he could be really ugly (which of course he is not) and I’d still swoon over the voice!

  2. I’m on my last audiobook – Venetia 😦 I would go for anything… really anything… phone book, local Chinese menu, DVD instruction…

    • I have a couple of audiobooks left: The Convenient Marriage and Lords of the North! I’m going on a long road trip in April…I think Richard may be reading to me for much of the trip. 🙂 I totally agree with you about the phone book or menus, so long as he’s reading I’d listen!

Wow, I’d never heard this audio sample before! Thanks so much for posting it(!).. although it’s a little surreal hearing him slip so effortlessly back into Thornton’s Northern dialect again… it’s a bit like concurrently listening to the audio book while watching the movie at the same time! 🙂

    • That audio sample is great isn’t it! I just came across it a couple of weeks ago thanks to someone on Facebook. I think it would be so cool if he would record the entire book. With his other audio books it is fairly easy to picture him in the main roles, like Lord Damerel for instance. But with North & South we have the movie to really help the imagination along.
