I not only saw North & South first but it was the role that hooked me. There was a lot to love about John Thornton! But the scene that sticks out most for me is when we see him with his mother after Margaret has rejected him….gah, he’s so heartbroken. You just want to reach out make him feel better!!! Well done Mr. Armitage, well done! Here I am a over two years later still gushing about your work.
